A master thesis exploring the emerging tool of generative design
This project aims to understand what the new tool generative design is and what it can do for industrial designers. We focused on form-finding in product development, and did this through designing stools. Having a specific product that is not too complicated, we could better judge our results and it allowed for faster iterations.
The potential of generative design tools is huge! It is definitely changing the way we are creative, we are no longer the sole creator of form, we are being augmented.
