The task was to do incremental changes to an existing product. Through user research i found that users wanted to test their one time use fire escape ladders. So it needed re-usability.
Using textile stiffener to strengthen some parts of the band, making it foldable.
Adding rubber padding to the stems, so they do not damage the wall.
Making the hooks retractable instead of original hinge to make the overall product feel more secure.
